Living Energy was established in 2003 with the sole purpose of providing cost-effective renewable energy to industrial, commercial and public sector clients. Since then we have achieved an enviable track record of project delivery, saving clients hundreds of thousands of dollars on their energy costs, not to mention the avoidance of thousands of tonnes of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.

As well as offering a range of industry-leading products and services, Living Energy has an extensive network of contacts in the forestry and timber processing sector. This gives us an expert knowledge of the location, availability and calorific value of woodfuel resources. As a result, we can source the most appropriate fuel for projects anywhere in Australia and New Zealand, and at any size – thus minimising cost, fuel miles and the carbon footprint of the woodfuel supplied.

Living Energy work across all sectors of the economy. We are currently working with organisations in the electricity, food processing, education, timber processing and public sectors, to name just a few.

One of our Directors is a founding Board Member of the Bioenergy Association of New Zealand (www.bioenergy.org.nz) and currently holds the position of Chairman. We have a high international profile in bioenergy circles and our staff have presented papers at conferences in New Zealand, Australia, Japan (Kyoto), the US, UK and other parts of Europe.
