The HP-21 LS and HP-25 LS are electrically-driven, low speed chippers designed for use in sawmills and other industrial wood processing applications. Running at speeds of just 120-200 RPM, the HP-21 LS and HP-25 LS produce a rougher chip than their high-speed cousins, but delivers considerable power savings.
Based on Laimet's robust conical screw blade, the HP-21 LS and HP-25 LS are designed to give years of low-maintenance and trouble-free operation. Powered by a choice of motors between 22 and 45kW, these chippers are suited to static use in sawmills where chipping slabwood and boards is a requirement. The chippers can produce between 10 and 30 cubic metres of chip per hour, depending on the blade used and the feedstock, with chips exiting via a conveyor belt or 7.5kWchip blower.

Operational noise on these units is so low that they can be safely used indoors as part of a production process with no seperate noise insulation - a real bonus in many applications.
The HP-21 LS and HP-25 LS are the perfect choice for samills who need to get rid of their slabwood as chip. The chips produced are suitable for larger wood energ applications or, with screening, for pulp chip.
