Complementing the cost-effective Bio-T burner are the simple and well-proven steel storage silos of up to 600m3 each. The silos have negative angled walls to avoid bridging and are installed complete with heat detectors and a water deluge system.  The system is fully automated.

The number of silos can be increased to provide an almost unlimited amount of on-site storage. The Thames Timber installation (pictured) provides for 1,000m3 of fuel storage utilising 4 x 250m3 silos.

The installation of more than one fuel silo allows different fuels to be stored separately and then blended to deliver consistent fuel to the burners.
